Absortech has expanded its presence in Asia with a joint venture in Shanghai, China. The joint venture Absortech Desiccants (Shanghai) Co Ltd manufactures a range of container desiccants for the Chinese export industry. In addition to supplying the local market our factory also has the capacity to produce for the export market.

With high quality, advanced technology, and good market competitiveness, our products have a good market in China.

Absortech’s General Manager in China has extensive experience in the desiccant industry as one of the pioneers in China for container and in-box desiccants since the early 1990s.

Absortech Desiccants (Shanghai) Co Ltd has its own R&D department with a laboratory and test chamber as the main research and development center in Asia to complement Absortech’s R&D facility in Sweden

By the end of 2008 Absortech Desiccants (Shanghai) Co Ltd will be able to produce most of Absortech’s product range.
